SBA used to be brewed in Anneoellin under the name 'La Rince Cochon', but is now brewed at Haacht, in Belgium, which also mainly brews Primus and Tongerlo.

The character of this strong blond beer is in the light yellow color that is normally characteristic of rather light beers. But with an alcohol content of 8.5° this is anything but a simple lager! The beautiful yellow beer has a white foam of medium thickness that holds well in the glass.

The beer tastes light, with a clear malt taste, and subtle sweet and sour notes of lemon. The alcohol can also be tasted and leaves no doubt about the character of this beer. The beer is smooth and full in the mouth, with a hint of malt and some fruit.

It is rather sweet in taste and only the alcohol gives the sweet taste of this drink some counterweight. A beer with few hops, ideal for lovers of full but strong beers. The sweet taste of the malt balances the presence of alcohol, resulting in a harmonious and particularly pleasant beer.

La Rince Cochon is a Flemish blond beer that cleverly combines a tasty recipe with a commercial 'separate' product. A beer that can be drunk slowly (8.5°) at a temperature of 6° C so that the taste comes into its own. Ideal with cold meats or as an aperitif!
